Ending hunger begins with collective action. At Rise Against Hunger India, volunteers and donors drive our mission by packaging fortified meals, raising nutrition awareness and supporting communities through education, sustainable livelihoods and direct feeding programs.
Financial contributions extend our reach to underserved areas and power life-changing initiatives, while advocacy, partnerships and public engagement with schools, corporates, civil society and government build a united movement to ensure food and nutrition security for all.

Our meal packaging programs provide a platform to engage volunteers and promote active citizenship to end hunger in a tangible manner while offering a rewarding experience for anyone who participates in the activities. The events are fun-filled with a lot of opportunities for cross-functional interaction, boosting morale through real-time accomplishments, team building, goal setting & achievement, creative problem- solving and relationship-building. The tangible outputs produced by volunteers gives them a sense of accomplishment.
Malnutrition is often fueled by cultural food myths, limited awareness of nutrition and hygiene, and market-driven choices that promote unhealthy eating, even in well-off families. To counter this, Rise Against Hunger India is delivering Nutrition Education sessions across 29 schools, inspiring 2,717 students to adopt healthy eating habits and make informed food choices.
Empowering adolescents and young adults to navigate challenges, build confidence and make informed choices, the Life Skills Education Training provides vital abilities such as decision-making, communication, critical thinking, self-awareness and emotional management. In this initiative, 179 participants across 10 groups were trained, helping shape brighter and healthier futures.
Together, these efforts nurture well-being, build resilience, and shape healthier futures.
Every year, Rise Against Hunger India hosts NGO Partners’ Meets in Bengaluru, Delhi and Mumbai, creating a platform for collaboration and shared learning. With active participation from the partners, these gatherings foster the exchange of ideas and strengthen collective efforts toward greater impact and empowerment in our mission to end hunger.
Rise Against Hunger India actively observes special days such as World Hunger Day, World Food Day, International Volunteer Day, International Women’s Day and other significant occasions to raise awareness and inspire action. These events bring together volunteers, partners and communities to celebrate collective responsibility, highlight issues of nutrition, food security and equality, and strengthen our shared commitment to a hunger-free world.
